This was the second Brune instrument played by Andres Segovia, who willed it to a lifelong student. Segovia referred to it as his “Hauser” model, and no wonder. The important set up dimensions are identical to the 1937 Hauser which Segovia gave to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. This instrument is identical to the current Brune Artist Model.
