Baroque guitar after Voboam

Made in 1977 by R. E. Brune, this instrument is a replica in the style of the Voboam Europe from 1650 to about 1690. The rose is made of layers of sheepskin parchment. The edge decoration is made of ebony and ivory. This instrument was originally displayed in the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian Institute.
