Santos was the foreman of Manuel Ramirez’ shop until the death of Ramirez in 1916, at which time Santos established his own shop at Calle Aduana 23, where it half of the century. He refined the Torres model to it’s most sophisticated form, producing guitars whose elegance has been rarely surpassed.
