1992 Hermanos Conde
1990s Condes from the Atocha shop are the ‘secret weapon’ of many famous Spanish pros. Mariano de Cordoba played them exclusively. Gerardo Nuñez had one too. Dry, precise, with a snappy picado, and balanced across the width and length of the fretboard. These perform beautifully in front of the microphone, without the tendency to feed back, and are built strongly enough to withstand touring and gigging. A true professional workhorse, and priced for the working musician. Wooden pegs have been replaced with mechanical ‘Pegheds’ tuners.
